What's in your water?

This debate has raged for decades, but the following film gives some compelling evidence:

The Age Of Stupid

A recently released documentary asks why we have done nothing in the face of a global disaster which could endanger our own species. Here's the trailer:

You can watch the "making of" video, which is great in itself here

I could not find a US release date, but there will be a UK DVD release in September.
Surely, we're moving past the Age of Stupid, right? Right?

Murder - Corporate Style

The town of Libby, Montana is synonymous with environmental disaster. It didnt grab the headlines like Love Canal did back in the 70's, but it shares the problems of lethal waste and helpless residents. Libby was located next to a vermiculite mine. The vermiculite was heavily contaminated with asbestos. Dust was everywhere. People are dying.
From Wikipedia:
"In February 2005 the Federal Government began a criminal conspiracy prosecution of Grace and of five Grace executives. The government alleges that Grace conspired to hide from employees and the town residents the asbestos dangers and that it knowingly released asbestos into the environment.
In May of 2009 W.R. Grace & Co., along with all of its executives, was found not guilty in connection with asbestos contamination of Libby, Montana, ending what was called the biggest environmental-crime prosecution in U.S. history.
On June 17, 2009 the EPA declared its first public health emergency. This emergency covers Libby and nearby Troy. It will provide an additional 130 million dollars in cleanup and medical assistance."

At least this is the only place where this kind of disaster happened, right?
Wrong.

Truth in War

Here's an eye-opening documentary covering the Panama invasion. You'll hear about illegal invasions, war crimes, civilian casualties, false flag operations, mass graves, internment camps - all things you didn't see on TV.

Short memories

Two years ago, the revelation that the CIA was conduction covert psyops against Iran was reported in mainstrean news. This video ties that footage to recent events:

Just a little prick

Swine flu - it presents a threat to all of us, but not necessarily in the form discussed on TV:
"The Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness (PREP) Act slipped under the radar when George Bush signed it into law as part of the 2006 Defense Appropriations Act (HR 2863). It lets the HHS Secretary declare any disease an epidemic or national emergency requiring mandatory vaccinations."

Edit: WHO declares pandemic

A conflict of interest?

Here's a surprise for you:
Tobacco good investment for health insurers
"Although investing in tobacco while selling life or health insurance may seem self-defeating, insurance firms have figured out ways to profit from both" -impressive, huh?!

Bitter Harvest

The title for this post was shamelessly taken from the title of a 1981 movie I saw on Hulu this weekend, but it seemed to fit quite well.
Ever heard of Monsanto's Terminator seeds? They are designed to produce crops with sterile seeds. This ofrces farmers to buy new seed each year.
Well, since this idea has be 'contraversial', Zombie seeds have been developed, which will only germinate when certain pesticides are applied....

Chaos Theory

In a change from my intended post, I'd like to report some news I doubt you'll see on the prime time TV news:

What do you think the chances of finding the black box might be?

Day 0

Finally, I make the switch to a 'real' blog! I've been thinking about an opening post for a while but I'm going to have to save those for another time. I'll at least go with something current for you.
Getting The Truth Out - The Liberty
Here's an excellent documentary which details the events of that day:

So what can you expect from me? Well, more of the above, I guess. Stuff you might not have seen anywhere else, but always 'a mixed bag'! I'm in a state of transition. My online presence is in a state of transition too, so you'll have to bear with me.
I've spent way too many hours on here designing unique shirts for the masses, and now I'm branching out to here (this one is very much under construction).

I'd like to end this initial post with a great little story for you - The Story of Stuff...
